About The Gentle Latch
The Gentle Latch is dedicated to your breastfeeding journey. My name is Abi, I am a solo practitioner supporting families who are experiencing breastfeeding challenges or have concerns about tongue tie, across Lancashire and parts of Greater Manchester (including Ramsbottom, Haslingden, Bury, Bolton and Prestwich). I understand that every mother and baby is unique and tailor my approach to meet your individual needs. My aim is to empower you with the knowledge and confidence to build a strong, healthy breastfeeding experience. Providing access to timely and compassionate support when you need it most.
I’m a midwife with over 14 years experience, a certified IBCLC lactation consultant and a registered tongue-tie practitioner. As a mum of two gorgeous boys, both of whom I breastfed, my passion is to help other families have the same enjoyable and supportive journey.

Offering personalised 1:1 support to help you overcome any breastfeeding difficulties. From latching issues to low milk supply, I am here to guide you every step of the way.
Breastfeeding Support
In addition to my consultation services, I offer valuable resources such as breastfeeding support leaflets. Also recommending various local support groups to assist in empowering you with the knowledge you need for a successful breastfeeding journey.
